We’ve become familiar with seeing Argentinian tennis players perform on the highest levels and compete for titles.

After the retirement of Del Potro and the near end of Schwartzman, new players from Argentina are now inside the Top 100 including Baez, Cerundolo, Cachin, and Etchevery.

Tomas is young, tall, and has the ingredients to win many titles. The highlight of his 2023 breakthrough season is probably reaching the quarter-finals of Roland Garros.

On the court, he has superb agility and nice footwork. He also is fit and can play aggressively from both sides.

Etcheverry plays with the TGT301.4 pro stock racquet painted to look like a Head Speed Pro.

Tomas uses the same racquet as Jannik Sinner and Emil Ruusuvuori. Also called the Graphene Touch Speed MP, The TGT301.4 is a versatile racquet that does it all. It provides stability, power, control, and spin.

The racquet has a 100 sq in head and a 16×19 string pattern, offering easy power and spin.

In addition, it is a little bit heavy in stock state with 315gr unstrung and the layup has a low stiffness score of 63 making it soft for the arms.

However, we don’t know the exact specs of Etcheverry.

The information is not currently diffused for the public, but we can make an educated guess that Tomas is using Head Hawk Touch strings.

It should be the same as Sinner again. But we don’t know the tension of his string bed.

This is a co-poly monofilament string coming with Head’s Crystal Core technology. The strings are soft in the core and stiff in the exterior to offer good control with softness and vibration absorption.

The string’s elasticity offers accurate feedback and an amazing feel to suit versatile styles of play and balance between power and precision.
