Patrick McEnroe: “The Most Underrated Player on Tour Is Tommy Paul”
Patrick McEnroe, the brother of the legendary John McEnroe, believes that one of the world’s top tennis players is underrated.
“Tommy Paul is underestimated as an athlete and is probably the purest tennis player among the current group.”
According to Patrick McEnroe, the 27-year-old is a dark horse in every tournament he enters.
Last year, the American claimed three titles: one ATP 500 at Queen’s and two ATP 250s in Dallas and Stockholm.
After his third-round exit at Indian Wells this Tuesday against Daniil Medvedev, Tommy Paul will return to the courts next week at the Miami Masters 1000.
