Riding the momentum from her WTA 1000 title in Dubai at the end of February, Mirra Andreeva made quick work of Clara Tauson in the third round of Indian Wells, winning 6-3, 6-0.

Speaking to the press after her dominant victory, the 17-year-old Russian was asked whether she had noticed a change in how other players perceive her. But according to her, she has no clue.

“I have no idea how they react when they see my name in the draw. I really don’t know. It’s the same with most players: we just say ‘Hi, how are you,’ and that’s it. I don’t feel like anything has changed. I’d say it’s pretty much the same. But I’d still love to know their reaction when they see my name in the draw.”
