Binaghi, president of the Italian Federation, wants to protect Sinner: “In Rome, just like we did for Djokovic, Jannik could have his own suite instead of the traditional players’ lounge.”
In Italy, Sinner-mania is in full swing, and this situation is becoming quite sensitive. Recently, the president of the Italian Federation spoke on the matter, making it clear that he intends to provide the current world number one with the best possible conditions.
“Sinner can no longer live in Italy, and the two days he spent in Rome last year confirmed it. We will dedicate something to him, just as Djokovic requested a few years ago. As world number one, Nole did not use the players’ lounge, in order to have a space where he could prepare for his matches and relax. For the same reason, we would gladly allocate part of our lounge to Jannik if he wishes because we believe he needs to be protected.”
