Benoît Maylin: “Carlos Alcaraz could absolutely pull a Rafael Nadal and win Indian Wells, Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Madrid, Rome, and Roland Garros.”
Benoît Maylin is known for his bold takes, but that’s also why he is appreciated and followed.
As Carlos Alcaraz thrives in the conditions at the Indian Wells Masters 1000, which resemble those of clay courts, Maylin explained on the latest episode of Sans Filet on Winamax TV that the Spaniard could dominate the circuit all the way to Roland Garros.
“In slow conditions with a high bounce, which generally resemble clay courts, I believe Alcaraz can win Indian Wells. There’s less bounce in Miami, but then there’s Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Madrid, Rome, and Paris. He could absolutely pull a Rafael Nadal.”
🔮 "Dans des conditions lentes avec un rebond haut, je me dis que Alcaraz peut gagner Indian Wells, Monte Carlo, Barcelone, Madrid, Rome et Paris. Il peut clairement faire une Rafael Nadal."
